As the planned retreat in the summer or autumn sadly couldn't take place a majorly shortened retreat was held in november to present the progress and results achieved since the last retreat. The PIs could proudly demonstrate how some project proposals were already done and the ideas generated based on the results for the next year. The new project researching COVID 19 was also introduced too all participants. It has first promising results which delighted the plenum and encouraged hopes for the future.
It was wonderful to hear from everyone again and to see the new faces of the SFB, even if it was only virtually! Hopefully we can meet in person next year!
