Prof. Heeren, project A10 of SFB1328 (Dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf), gave a presentation titled 'Mitochondria in brown adipose tissue as an approach to treating obesity' for the 10th grade at the Johannes-Brahms-Gymnasium. This was followed by a question-and-answer session to learn more about medical professions, study programs and training courses at the UKE.
