Interested pupils (grade 12) from Hamburg Grammar School Johannes-Brahms-Gymnasium were informed regarding study programs in Medicine and Biomedical Science on May 28, 2026, by Prof. Guse, spokesperson of SFB1328. In particular, the Hamburg model curriculum in medicine, iMED, and its “2nd Track program” that allows rapid involvement of even young students into research was introduced. This innovative dimension of iMED was discussed in the context of SFB1328 and its goals towards basic science and translational applications in medicine.
