A09: Summary

cAMP induces energy dissipation in brown and brite/beige adipocytes. However, not much is known about the spatio-temporal cAMP patterns and specific components down-stream of different receptors. We will also study the role of chemokine receptors in the regulation of cAMP signaling in brown/beige adipocytes. The chemokine/chemokine receptor system could constitute an important link between brown/beige adipocytes and immune cells in obesity-related inflammation.
