On February 20, 2025 Cumhur Utku Dagli received the 1. Prize of the regional assessment of ‘Jugend forscht’ for his work entitled “Heat shock and more: Calcium signals in yeast re-investigated’. The prize was donated by Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft. Cumhur Dagli has been supervised regarding research in calcium signaling by Prof. Guse, speaker and PI of SFB1328. Thereby, as part of its Public Outreach activities, SFB1328 support pupils from Hamburg schools.
