A04: Summary

The new synthesis to membrane-permeable derivatives of the second messengers will enable a convergent access to site-specifically modified derivatives bearing enzyme-cleavable moieties and/or a combination of enzyme-cleavable groups with photo-cages to allow a delivery of the second messenger with spatial resolution. Moreover, membrane-anchorable ATP-sensor molecules will be developed to measure ATP-concentrations at cell surfaces.
